Yep, my husband and I are in the same boat. We both have suits against us from Citibank/Regent. On my husband's suit, a default judgement was awarded, but was reversed because the judge did not see our answers in the file. Once we pointed them out, they also found out that Regent never submitted the order that shows we were ever even served with papers! We filed a successful motion to set aside judgemnt and are waiting to see what Regent will do next. In the meantime, Regent has been sending my husband letters saying they will received a default judgement on him and are filing papers in the Real Property Records of the County Clerk. This despite the judgemnt was set aside. The court and my husband have sent them copies of the motion that gets rid of the judgemnt, but they just seem to ignore it. So now we wait and see what is next. I have not heard a word on my suit. I am also unemployed, so there is nothing they can do, but put a lien on our house.
