Hi, I have a couple of questions about 2 summons I hurried to answer this week. Both are from credit collection agencies located here in Colorado, paying attornies to try and get a judgment, each for under $300. Both of these credit collectors had several COFDCPA and FCRA violations for me to countersue with. So, in my haste yesterday, I aswered both. General denial, with a few affirmative defenses (time barred, SOL, Latches, unclean hands). And I filed the countersuit for $7000 each citing several violations of COFDCPA and FCRA violations. So, both answered and countered. But now, a day later, I'm thinking I could have been more of a bitch by driving the counters higher? Then doing something to drive this case to District so I can serve interrogatories? (which btw, I served interttogatories to both attorney's yesterday, but forget I am only in County Court, so they will ignore them I'm sure) Question: What can I do now? Is this enough to make these bozo's call and ask me to settle, or will they try their luck at court? Or, should I file a motion to move this to District, file and amendment to add to the countersuit, and if successful, throw the interrogatories at them again? Any insight? Thanks!
