Had a CA do this recently on my answering machine, and they had the WRONG NUMBER for the party (who no one in my household knows) they thought they were calling. Persisted even after I let them know that they have the wrong numbers, so I *have* re-taped it and stored it.

Also filed a complaint against them with the FTC. Let 'em lie to the FTC about it, because they're going to eat those same lies later.
