hired like third party collectors file judgements or does the actual creditor have to do it? My account was with one "attorney" type office,I can't remember the name. I made arrangements with them and did a few payments. Then they stopped doing collections and my account was turned over again. This time to mann bracket. The amount that this company says is the original amount I owed and doesn't show any of the payments I made to the other company. Thank God it wasn't a lot of money but when I questioned the lady she just hung up on me. I am not sending these people anything it is likely a company like this would put a judgement out? I owe a little over 1100.00 on it and it is only about a year old.
