Md has a 3 year SOL, so you need to know when the original creditor charged off the account. Or when the first 30 day late was. (with the original creditor) What has happened with Collection agencies and/or CA attorneys does not really matter when determining the SOL. The SOL determines whether or not they have a legal right to sue on the account. Once the SOL is passed, they can try to collect, but have no legal recourse if you don't pay voluntarily.
