first - thanks the reply from catb & jKelly. today i receive a leeter from amex.
"regain card memebership"
it was from amex. basically the letter said that they would like to offer me a opportunity to regain card membership if i pay my past due amex acct bal in full.
But i have to contact CA to arrange for payment of my account. At the end of the letter, "this communication is an attempt of collect a debt". Have anybody seeing this before? This looks like the account still with amex and they assign to 3rd party collection agency to collect fund in full. I want to bring the account current. But collection agency won't accept partial payments. What should I do? If i send a payment to Amex to bring the balance current. what would happen. Please comments. Thanks.
