This is a scam to get you to sign a new agreement and re-age your account.

It is NOT from Amex, it is from a 3rd Party CA. Read the "offer" carefully, especially the fine print, you will NOT get back your Amex account, you will get something else that will do you NO good until you have repaid ALL of the old debt, then they MAY give you a secured credit line of $200. or less.

What State ae you in, and when did you last pay Amex directly on a USEABLE current account.
