Why are you worried about a car that is financed? Do you REALLY think that even if it were totally in your name that they would seize it in a judgment, auction it off at wholesale, pay off the lien, pay you your $1,500 Ca. exemption and have a ¢ left?? They would OWE $$ !!

By the time it is paid off, you will be WAY past SOL.
