pay credit cards before filing bankruptcy or save the $$$?

ok, just hypotheticals, here - we haven't decided anything. we did decide the first lawyer we talked to didn't ask enough questions, so we have to!!
IF we are going to file, what are the opinions on paying bills vs. hoarding the cash? except for the 3 debts that look like they are gonna force us into BK, we are current on EVERYTHING. her fako ranges from 629 - 651, 2 charge-offs. don't know mine, doesn't matter. anyways, if we rack up bunch of credit card lates, is it going to matter whether her fico is 700 or 400 pre-BK? is it easier to rebuild credit with a higher score going in, or no diff.
