And I believe those who extend credit and the ca's who do the collection should also follow the laws and do the right thing when collecting a debt. Sadly, though, they do not...It's boards like this one that helps us understand the laws and use them to help us. Are you one of those people who pays as soon as they get the letter in the mail saying you owe someone money without ever finding out for sure that it is yours? If you are, that's too bad and you don't belong on this board...thanks for your imput.
