I have been using a "cash only" system for the last five years since I lost my good credit. Actually isn't that bad and everything gets paid on time.

Just recently got a cc because I was advised I needed at least one to build up my credit.

But after all the hassles the last seven years with the OC and the CA's. I would rather use cash than have to deal with the hassles.

Now that I am using the system I think I will stick to just to not ever risk this happening again.

Just too bad that rent and utility payments don't get recorded on the CR, expect for negetive. I would think this would help my CR. I have been credit worthy for the last six or seven years, not that my credit report reflects it. Kinda discouraging because I have come along way from where I was seven years ago.

Does anyone know why utilities and rent is not included in a CR? I sure could use the boast it would give my CR.
