Most lawyers will take their fees in payments
but they will not file until the fee is paid in full. I
visited 5 different lawyers and they all told me
that their fee must be paid before they can file,
the law on this changed recntly. I ended up
spending $1080 for my BK. I had a very good
lawyer and this fee included absolutely
everything I needed from him. It was worth it.
Took me three months to pay him, but he filed
as soon as I did.
