nco has an assigned charge-off and 'threatened' they were doing one. they no longer have the account.
He did say something at the time about owning a $ 156,000 house. That isn't true and I told him so. I also told him'just because a mortgage might show up on your credit report, does not mean you own it':)
he said-'I'll call so-and-so and find out.' I said 'go ahead, and then have them all me cause it sounds like fraud.' the truth-
-what I had was a $56,000 mortgage(ca tacked on an extra $100,000 in his conversation) but quit claimed on it in accordance with my divorce papers. Until ex refinances, it shows up on my cr. But, with a quit claim, I no longer own it so they can not go after it. the only owner now is my ex.
