I am not an expert at this, but they can get a
judgement and then depending on your
situation, act accordingly. If you have no jobs
or assets, there is really nothing they can do.
BUT, the judgement stays on for 10 years I
think, and if you do get something within that
time, they can get it then. If you have a job,
depending on your state, they can garnish
wages up to 25% of your income. If you have
assets that are not expempt, they can take
those. Again, it depends on the state you live
in.
