how old is this debt? the last time you paid? did you sign anything when you began paying the CA? im also in texas...contacting a Ca will do no good. the interest alone will kill ya, and they will still sue. watch your bank accounts..homestead your house..we have no wage garnishment here..watch in case you are sued and always answer and fight one. they all say that.."send it back to the OC for a suit" its CA crap. they wont deal with you once its charged off, is all. suing or not is their own decision..not the CAs. good luck fellow texan! dont admit to things..in writing..please.
