Google them. Ask CRA for full particulars - address, phone, etc.

If it's shaky, don't be surprised if it's something else.

The larcenous thugs who for the moment swindled a twenty-million dollar estate from a relative of mine made inquiries into my credit report under the name "Business Intelligence, Inc."

I say 'under the name', because "Business Intelligence, Inc." had nothing to do with it, their name was misused by these cowards, who hide behind the skirt of a big, fat, avaricious, 'niece', in order to extract money from the vainglorious. I digress.

Here's how it worked. "Business Intelligence, Inc." is name used by several different companies around the country. CRA gave address and phone of the one who inquired about me. I called. They knew nothing about it. They have nothing to do with credit inquiries, their business doesn't involve CRA's. They were innocent victims of scam artists.

CRA was told. CRA said an 'internet inquiry' was sent to them about me. Their protocols require a second inquiry and verification, which the sender couldn't do. In other words, an imposter. Thus, CRA did not supply credit info to the crook misusing 'Business Intelligence' name.

By sheer coincidence, a big-four accounting firms employs one of the termites involved in estate swindle. I sent him a letter of inquiry, right before the CRA attempted access. He consistently represented himself as president of the company, which clearly, he is not. This was done to impress my relative, part of the undue influence.

This big-four accounting firm had an internal department known as 'Business Intelligence', which just happened to be staffed by pals of this little termite. Clever, aint' he?

Except he's caught. Caught and documented. Restitution plus triple damages, so says FL law, rather explicit, no way out. Just a matter of time.

Moral of story, always verify inquiries to your report with CRA, follow up with inquiring company when in doubt.

Forewarned is forearmed.

Inquiringly,

"Praemonitus, praemunitus."

- Forewarned is forearmed.
