As what I know with california this goes for people eithier with A. divorced in california and court has ordered him to support you or has ordered child support if apply you are entitled to that money.
B. If it has been ordered in another state he has to support you. You can touch that money.
Without those orders good luck they probley wont let you touch them without his consent married or not.
My husband and I have a joint then seperate accounts. And the bank wont even let me touch his account even to see the balance. I can desposit, withdrawl with a check written to me from him and thats it.
Without a court order most likely you wont be able to touch it.And even with a court order you wont be given free will to the bank account to withdrawl whenever you feel the need the court will order the amount to withdrawl and give you but usually in most cases they will order him to pay and give him the chance to pay out of his pcoket first before they resort to taking the accounts. I pay childuspport to my spouse through california.
