Good to see you made it through the storm, Keyser. South Florida didn't need to get hit again- and you can be sure that the cas will be calling as soon as the phones are restored- looking for part of the insurance/federal aid money that the victims will eventually get.

Theresa, I would suggest you get all your information together, including the disputed debt-anything at all that you have regarding this account and call all the naca lawyers in your area. You may have a better case than you think.

If in South Florida, contact

Robert W. Murphy
1212 SE 2nd Avenue
Fort Lauderdale, Florida

954-763-8660

Make sure you tell him and any lawyer you speak to all the details- including the dispute over charges-it might make a difference in your case.

YOu might also want to speak to The Avenger- who posts on this board. I think that WhyChat has a link on his website.

Keyser is correct. They are trying to get you to prove their case, which means they probably don't have any proof.

You will want to take an attorney you see all the papers you have, any and all papers that came with the summons, and copies of any response you made.

Stop talking to these guys- you MAY be able to get your attorneys fees paid if the other side violated the law.

Good luck to you
