contacting credit bureaus

I have accounts on my credit reports that have reached the SOL. How do I go about contacting the credit bureaus to have these charge off's taken off my report? Do I need to contact each bureau? and I have one account that is still showing in collections - it has also reached the SOL. Can I request that be taken off as well? This site and message board is great for the credit bureau challenged - thank you for any advice you might be able to provide.
