I have a question.

Had an attorney threaten to sue me. Checked court records in my county and this attorney has a history of sueing in bulk in my county although he lives in another county.

I requested validation after the first demand letter and over the phone. They said they planned to sue if they didn't get payment if 15 days. I have heard nothing and have gotten nothing as validation.

I have talked with Bud Hibbs on the phone and he stated he could slow the whole process down and sent out a two page validation letter for me. He said to let him negotiate with them and that would end the harrassment. My concern is this. Will his involvement just make them angerier and more determined to file against me. I have heard differing opinions. According to advice on this site validation might not have even been the right choice. But is done now.

Should I continue to work with BH or should I try to go this alone? Some say having a consume expert involved just makes the CA want to sue you more. I was thinking it would make the playing field more equal.

I am getting conflicting advice.
