Please don't be offended. I truly understand that you had a problem and I agree BOA, as well as quite a few other big banks, etc., can be malicious. More to the story was to clear up what you had or had not done to try to get them to fix the problem. If your dispute was not in WRITING (usually 60 days from the first statement containing the inaccurate charge) to them, you normally lose the dispute and if they did not reply to you in WRITING giving you a reason for denying your dispute, you do not have a paper trail to defend yourself in court now. Withholding payment for the undisputed part of your debt has created more problems for you. I'm sure you probably were unaware of all of this as you were trying to get them correct this and I totally agree that BOA has treated you badly.
