I just got a call from Mid-land from a Devin Thomas wanting money from a 7 year old account.
When I asked him for anything in writing to prove it was mine he said check my CR its there so that is enough proof he also said they sent out 3 letters but I got none of them(lol) sure he did. I then asked for the address of this company and he would not give it to me so I said how could I send you anything if I have no address??? He was stumped on that 1.
I then said with out proof of such account how could I pay you anything because for all I know you are some jail-bird pulling some scam.
I also told him if there is a report on my CR I will file charges against him. He said go and do it. So I said call the last ca whom had this account and ask them about charges filed against them ( also just got and email from the last ca stating all info reguarding the account has been removed from all 3 CRA )
So they picked the wrong dog to mess with.
Off to the AG of PA web site to file a complaint then wait 30 days the file fraud charges on them
