The CA would have to be able to produce COMPLETE account information in Court to PROVE that your account was CURRENT at a later date than you claimed for the delinquency date.

Since you would have sent the SOL letter, they KNOW you will defend the case, and if the can NOT disprove your SOL defense they are subject to a countersuit and steep penalties.

If you DON'T send it,they are more likely to sue, thinking they will get an easy default judgment.
