Thank you Linda for your time. I made a payment at sears which is what they told me to do to get things rolling then they wanted me to send postdated checks which i did not do. I will happily make payments in the store each month or send money orders but they say that they need the post dated checks to secure the account. I made the one payment i sent in May and didn't send anything in June. I spoke to them today about making another payment this month and they said thats good but what about last month? I never set up an actual payment amount (monthly) yet and i told them i can send 150 a month. They said i need to send 150 for june and 150 for july or sears is going to pull the account on 7/30/01 and start as they put it "legal action". They said that since i started to pay and then didn't send the next months payment it is considered that I am refusing to pay and thats why sears will resort to legal action. And they asked me again about sending post dated checks. If I refuse to send post dated checks but will send money orders or make payments at the store itself, can they do anything to me? Will that cause sears to try to sue me when i am wiling to make payments just not with post dated checks? Thanks again and sorry if I am rambling but I am kinda nervous being that the 30th isn't that far away. Thanks in advance for any further insight to this. Tom
