Linda I made the payment of 150 today and I am making another payment for the same next week. I spoke to the collection agency today because i had to give them the receipt number, and they said as long as i make the 150 payment next week it will get me out of the "refusal to pay status I am in because of the missed payment" and as long as I make a payment every month all will be good. Now I saw that you said if they ever refuse my payment then i am going to be sued. Are they likely to do that if i make payments every month without missing any? If they did are you sure that the judge would throw it out being that regular paymnets were being made? I can't thank you enough for your help, it is VERY much appreciated. From what they said as long as i make the payment to get caught up next week and make payments regularly everything would be fine, and even said that if anytime i was not going to be able to make the agreed payment to call them and let them know rather than just not make the payment as they can make note to the account that it will be paid just slightly late. I have to say they have been very reasonable and have not acted hostile toward me at all. They told me when they first contacted me that if they don't establish some sort of payment arrangement inside of 6 months from the date they were hired to collect the account that sears will pull the account from them. I know that 2400 balance is enough to get sued for and thats why i want to work with them and get this paid, plus although i know it will do nothing for my credit I personally want to make good on the debt anyway. Thanks again for your time and help :)

Tom
