If you are making regular payments, they are not going to do anything. As far as their honesty - if you go back and read your original post, you said they told you they must have 30% immediately - okay - see??? They were just trying to get as much as they could from you!! You're on the hot seat, and they will make sure you stay there, LOL.

It is true that most judges do not do anything to people who are making any kind of regular payment at all. But you are not likely to be taken to court if you are making regular payments. And, like they said, if something happens that you cannot meet this obligation, stay in contact with them, and you will be alright. Apparently they have not "bought" this debt, they are collecting it for Sears.
