There are a lot of bureaus that do real estate reports like you are talking about. Did they give you the name of the company that is reporting you? That would be who you dispute with. I would call the FTC's consumer help line and ask for help if you don't have the info on which company it is. 10 years is alittle long. bankrupcties come off in 10 years.

Get Pacific Bell to send you a wirtten statement that the debt is paid, and send a copy to the collection agency. Make sure they remove it from your credit reports.
