I found a past due amount on my credit report with Sprint as the original creditor. The original debt was reported as $81 in 1996. The debt was recorded by Gulf State Credit LLC in Oct. 2000. I paid these bastards and they still have not removed the debt. Can someone give me a number for Gulf State Credit? Isn't it some sort of violation if you fail to update a credit record on a settled account?
