Sorry, that's not what'll happen in a lawsuit. They'll produce a computer run with your address and ss# and a record of your payments until default. In fact, after you are served, they are very likely to really turn up the heat by waiting until your response and then asking for a summary judgement.
Having said that, your chances of being sued over a credit card debt are dependent on what the creditor thinks they can recover in a reasonable period of time.
