The CRA's try to keep them all on there. Just keep disputing. Have you deleted all your old addresses? That can help if you've moved. Is this the same debt you are talking about with Gulf State? Or is this a different one? If it has been sold many times, chances are they would have a hard time coming up with any validation of the debt.
Then dispute dispute dispute.
