Bankruptcy

I have had 2 accounts with a furniture store. I made these payments on time until the company went out of business. They went bankrupt. So my problem is: If the company went bankrupt, am I still responsible for this debt? All their accounts has been turned over to Gulf State Credit for collections. Do I ignore them, or pay these people. I got a credit report, and it marks these accounts with a $0 balance. How should I handle this matter?
