Disputed Chargeback Help

[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Credit Forum Index ]

Please help me. I disputed a charge on my credit card. I express mailed the chargeback documentation to the credit card co. The chargeback dept. sent me a letter saying they never received the documentation, have
cancelled the dispute, and I am liable for the charge.

I have proof I have sent the documentation. It was tracked, and I have the employee name who signed for it, along with the time it was picked up.

I cancelled out my card with them verbally(with strong profanity calling them a pack of slimeballs).

What is my next step? If I don't pay the disputed amount, will it become a chargeoff? Should I get an attorney? Will small claims court help me?

I do have proof they received the documentation within their time limit.

Thanks,
Jim
