The only thing they attached to the summons is a copy of some contract that I can not read which does not bear my signature. I honestly do not think they have anything and seriously doubt that Providian will have anything either because I don't remember signing anithing back in 1998, just sending in an invitation for a visa membership card along with a check for $25 processing fee, about a month later I got a congratulations letter asking me for a 200.00 check which was held in a savings account. I wish I would have know then what I know now about Providian.....I don't think they even have copies of all my statements or any record of my disputes which I sent in writing and followed up on the phone. I don't have all my statements either since it has been so long, but a good portion of them. Back in 2003 Unifund (the CA) showed up on my credit reports, the info was vague and I disputed it with the three credit bureaus and thirty days later all three removed the account of my credit records. I ordered new copies of my credit reports the day after I was served and discovered that they had added the account again to my equifax report and this time the figures are inflated even from the suit amount and the changed all the dates, can they do that?
