I called and talked to Bud Hibbs personally today. He knows his stuff and so does the secretary. Advised me immediately of several additional FTC violations going on with PCM and their attorneys. (like they could not validate the debt to the CRA and it was take off my report but they are still going after it? That is illegal) Also refusing to let me speak with the attorney when he signed the demand letter.... another violation. This guys is really on top of things.

I am going to stay with him and just wait this out. He thinks they will drop me like a hot potato. If not he has consumer attorney friends all over the country who he can refer you to if things get bad.

I will be adding my two cents about Asset Acceptance on their website.

Once SOL is up he says there is a way to get the collection accounts off your CRA. I am all for that.

And.....having had terrible experiences with Asset Acceptance I have learned through him that some very "interesting" sources are watching them now and keeping tabs on all the horror stories. Email him at his website if you have been harrassed ect by Asset Acceptance.
