what's next/paid CC w/partner's ckg acct

What happens next? I am trying to get a handle on the process reading everything on the site relevant but I still have questions. Let's start with my current call. I haven't paid my 3 cc's (same company)in 6 months. I owe approx. 36K. The calls have been never ending from the company. Now as the six month date nears they have become increasingly serious. The last one excavated the name of the person whose account I used to pay them electronically. This checking account lists him as the primary person on the acount and I am the second. we have different last names. The call (from the CC)asked to speak to either him or I. Should i get that name off the account as fast as possible? Can they take his wages? And finally how long before I can expect a lawsuit. I am disabled but receive no disabilty benefits. I am basically living off the goodwill of another person. And finally mother had put my name on these accounts as I aided her in a hospice situation. I should have notified when she passed but I was confused and now I am just ashamed. Any help greatly appreciated.
