Pay the hospital any amount towards the bill and make sure you get a receipt. Pay in person at the cashier window. As long as the hospital takes the payment, the CA will be a scumbag of the past. I know! I've dealt with a Medical group that was taking my money and giving me receipts and a CA was trying to collect using the Medical group as the client. CA couldn't do diddly squat about anything!
