Actually, your daughter is correct - up to a point. Minors cannot enter into binding contracts and if she writes a letter rescinding the agreement because she IS a minor, then the whole thing gets tossed - but she would have to do that before she turns 18. However, running it up intentionally and then backing out would still be FRAUD. I'd write the bank a scathing letter about sending a credit card to a 15 year old w/o any parental consent - bunch of idiots ! Have them cancel the card immediately and close the account before she has any bright ideas to go thru with her statements !
