If they get an arbitration award, and try to get a judgment based on the arbitration award. Your proof of refusal of arbitration is your defense. You will force them into validating the debt, just as they would if they did not have the arbitration award. You do have the right to refuse arbitration. You are not bound by an arbitration award.
