Disputing Inquiries - Requesting Copy of Credit Report

I disputed a few inquiries that I did not recognize on my credit report and I received letters back ask for copies of my credit report. Their letter stated that the Credit Report must not be more than 30 days old. Well I have one but it is 25 days old. By the time they would get it is would undoubtedly be over 30 days old. Can they request this? Thanks in advance, Jlg
