You have all been so helpful and reassuring, so a big Thank You! I have another question for you. I have hired a lawyer and plan to file by the end of September. However, I may have a problem when it comes to my income. I teach summer school and during the months of July, August and September, I have an extra $400 of income. I did not include this money when doing my income to debt ratio because 9 months out of the year, that money is not there. But if I file in September, that money will be on my paystub. Can I explain that this is strictly seasonal income and not include it when figuring disposable income? Or can I spread it out over 12 months and include it that way? If I spread it out, it comes to about $100 extra each month and my disposable income will still be negative. Does this make any sense? I need to file by September or my life will be a living hell.
