There are 3 possible reasons they are refusing your offers and insisting on Western Union or direct account transfer.

The FIRST and simplest answer is, they have no valid claim or legal right to collect on your account, therefore they want no traceable account information from THEIR Bank. If they are giving you a PO Box address, that is another tip-off.

The SECOND is that you are beyond SOL, and they have no legal right to collect, (see # 1)

The THIRD is, that they are not licensed and/or bonded to collect in your State, (see# 1)

OR ALL OF THE ABOVE

Do not pay them a ¢ -it would be $$ down a rathole.
