Ive posted on this board before about a credit card that was taken out in my name by my mother. Ive run across a situation I thought you guys could answer. This debt continues to be passed on from one CA to another. Every time I send a validation request along with the police reports and fraud affidavit, its sold to another CA who again reports in on my credit report. Im trying to rebuild my credit, but having different CA's report it every few months is killing me. Is there a way to get this to stop...
Im in Texas, looks like the debt ($3200?) was chraged off in 2001, but there's no way in telling b/c MBNA wont give me that info.
