Question -
I am in a debt consolidation company and i have consolidated 3 of my credit cards which total to be approx 14,000. Two of those cards are with mbna which have since turned over to wolpoff and abramson. Can they do anything legally if i am in a debt consolidation company. they way that my company works is i deposit amount into my bank account each pay and then once a certain amount is in the account then i send a payment out to the company to pay them off i am starting with the smaller bill first which is approx 1000.00 the two mbna bills are 12,000. but the actual question was about wolpoff and abramson on how far they can go with this with me being in a consolidation company.and can they harrass you on the phone if you've sent them a power of attorney, and cease to communication?????
