I was sued with no warning and no previous letter from the attorney. I had not heard anything on this account for about 8 or 9 months and then a deputy sheriff shows up at my door with the suit. It was charged off by the OC approx. 8 months ago. The only communication I have had from the attorney is after I answered the suit they sent a letter wanting to settle. Of course I could not do it on their terms. If I had that kind of money I would not be in the mess I am now.
