We worked with a debt settlement type place, or should I say we paid them to do basically nothing! We lost nearly $3K , money we could of used, but we learned a lesson a hard one at that. Anyway, your best bet is to use that money for yourself to work w/ creditors OR use it to pay an atty to help you with this problem. Btw W&A was sent a c and d as well before but they did not care and stated they would not work w/ the company. When you start paying these companies more money and you have a problem, be prepared to continue calling them like your creditors call you because that is the ONLY way you are going to get an answer (or at least that is how ours went).And the poa to w&a if it has to do with that company forget it, w & a will ignore it (speaking from experience). good luck though.
