i have gotten mail from avengers...and others here. its a bit diff address so i can tell its not really them. but yes, im quite sure that is the goal. to send viruses..data miners..or simply get the headers off our mails..and flood our mail with crap. i change emails frequently and have 2...this one i use here is already filling up with debt solutions..and viruses..email with attachments...never open them.
