your situation sounds like mine however I haven't let it go as long as you have. You might fall intothe statutes of limitations which means that your creditor's can't take legal action-you still owe the money they just can't do anything about it legally. Usually, it is 3-5 years after the debt has gone deliquent. hopefully, someone else will reply to this because I need to know the same thing...to pay or not to pay. It will still be on our reports either way except in your case you need to get credit...I already have a car and an apartment.
