Gulf State is witdrawing money from my checking account

I received an offer in February of 2001 to settle my account. I sent them the full settlement amount in March of 2001. They cashed my check but never sent me the letter they said they would send that verified I had paid my debt. The debt is also still on my credit report. Last week I looking at my checking account and there were 2 withdrawls on my that I did not make. After checking with my bank I found that Gulf State made the withdrawl. They did this without any notification. I don't owe them any money anyway! I will be pursuing this matter as far as possible!
