I have a charge off for citibank from 1997 and it was for $600.
I checked my credit report and it is on there, along with Gulfstate credit for the same citibank acct....it is not where the collection agencys would be, it is down with my 'open' accounts, and it says I am 120 days past due....is any of this legal?
Can gulfstate report the same thing as already reported?
I thought only one entry for each debt....
Also, Gulfstate says I now owe $720! Can anyone help me w/ these questions? Also, if I dispute something and the lender/creidtor doesn't respond to the CRA within 30 days, doesn't the CRA have to take it off completly?
Thanks guys My FICO equifax score is 529 and I need to buy this house I am leasing in April 2002....I need to straighten all this out!
