Do different "rules" of conduct and recourse apply to law firms and collection agencies attempting to collect on a bad checks written? I got the "legal action commences at 5 pm today...seizing your bank accounts and any assets you have" phone call this morning over 2 checks; one for a pizza and one to a grocery outlet.
